Pisa - Osteria Dei Mille

Se avete voglia di una bella gita, Pisa fa al caso vostro, e dopo la doverosa passeggiata alla Piazza dei Miracoli (ricordatevi la foto dove tenete dritta la Torre!), resistente alla tentazione di sedervi a mangiare in uno di quei ristoranti per turisti proprio lì vicino.

Li riconoscete perché c'è sempre fuori un cameriere che cerca di "catturare clienti".
Avvicinatevi e date un'occhiata al menu: sarete subito "abbordati"

Provate invece a fare pochi passi in più, e dietro l'angolo, in via dei Mille, c'è l'Osteria Dei Mille (...che fantasia...).

L'HO PROVATO!

Il locale è picccolo ed accogliente, e venendo subito al sodo, si mangia bene spendendo...beh, controllate voi, il conto è proprio a fondo pagina.

Come potete vedere, abbiamo puntato sui primi, ed in particolare le fettuccine porcini e tartufo sono una vera delizia, tant'è che si è deciso di bissare.

Intercettata una conversazione tra cameriere (credo sia comunque il proprietario, o il figlio) ed il cuoco (dovrebbe essere il fratello).

Un tavolo sollecitava quanto ordinato, ed il cuoco si è un pochino indispettito: "mandali via, allora! C'è scritto fuori che nonn facciamo piatti espressi!".

Perciò, non abbiate troppa fretta, e godetevi il fatto che il cuoco cucini veramente per voi.

Buono anche il resto, anche se un filetto non permette grandi manifestazioni di estro.

Particolari e gustosi i dolci (a 5 euro è anche un buon prezzo).

Se volete del vino, pur non essendo cultori, potete prenderne anche solo un bicchiere, di quello della casa, che va comunque bene.

Evitate invece il caffé: è così così...

Però può essere una scusa per fare due passi subito dopo pranzo, ed avviarsi verso il centro della città.

If you fancy a nice promenade, Pisa is right for you, and after the visit to the Piazza dei Miracoli (remember to take a picture of you while seems to keep the Tower!), don't hear the sirens that ask you to sit down to eat at one of those restaurants for tourists just nearby.

Recognize them it's easy, because there is always a waiter out trying to capture customers. "

Try instead to make a few more steps, and just around the corner, in Via dei Mille, there's the Osteria dei Mille.

I TRIED IT!

The restaurant is pretty and cozy, and coming straight to the point, eat ix excellent, and the price ... well, check the pic of the bill to make your own idea.

As you can see, we chose the former, and especially the fettuccine with mushrooms and truffles are a delight, so much that we decided to repeat.

Intercepted a conversation between a waiter (I think it is the owner, or child) and the cook (it should be his brother).

A customer called for a fast order, and the cook was a little annoyed, "send them away, then! It's wrote outside that we do not have expressed food! "

So do not be too hasty, and enjoy the fact that the chef actually cook for you.

Good the rest, special and tasty desserts (5 € is also a right price).

If you want wine, though you aren't expert, you can take even just a cup of the  house wine, which is good enough.

Avoid coffee instead: it is so so ...

However, it can be an excuse to take a walk after lunch, and move yourself towards the center of the city.
